Shilen DGA 300 and neck turning

Hello all, I inherited a bench gun. A shilen DGA 3011 in 6ppc with a .262 neck and wondering what pressure issues I might have running loaded necks at .262....?

If your necks with a bullet seated measure .262 and the chamber neck is .262, you'll have some issues.

A good rule of thumb for these types of 'tight neck' chambers is to have a minimum of .002 clearance (.260 neck diameter in your case).

Jared, I would like to answer your question or at least add to the information provided but what Pressures are you referring to?
How are you measuring your present pressures, in what calibers?
What powder are you planning to use?
What bullet weight are you planning to use?
Any particular powder brand/type?
Diameter of the flash hole?
Trim to length dimensions?
What external dimensions does your chamber cast tell you?
What is a loaded neck?
Brand of Brass using?
Present neck thickness 0.xxx"

Loaded neck of 0.262 and chamber of 0.262 is considered a "Fitted Neck" not a tight neck usually associated with 6ppc'cs
Fitted necks have been TRIED WITH MORE PROBLEMS THAN REWARDS.
They also can be "DANGEROUS" if one doesn't know their limitations.

I would advise you to follow Al's advise listed previously.
