SEB rest

I'm interested in a SEB rest, I emailed Ernie Bishop and havent recieved a response. Does any know who sells SEB rests here in the states?

You may have to watch the classified section of BR Central...the US distributor for SEB is not very active...sad but true..:eek:

It took a week or two to get a reply from Ernie Bishop when I emailed him for a counterweight last Fall. How long has it been?

Sebastian...I tried to get the old style tension screws for my SEB rest...last year...never could get the screws from Ernie...I finally decided to forget it ..he must have little interest in representing your product...:(

My open apology!!!

I am trully sorry for the inconvenience!!!
Please accept my apology, in the name of Ernie & myself...especially to you Cody, and eww1350.

I can only tell you that actually Ernie is great & very friendly guy. I know him & his family personally. He is just sometimes slow, but I think due to his activities / business. He works for his Church and helps deaf & dissabled young people, which is Great IMO.

Please be advised too, that my production rate is small and always less than the demand. I have several dealers in several countries/region and the fact that still must manage to "spread" the products to at least 20 countries now.
I still remember at the Supershoot, one people said why didn't I make more rests then?... my answer...do you know how many actions/rifles that Kelbly makes in one month/year?.... then can you ask them to make much more actions/rifles than what they are making???....Well this is not a mass product thing, and sure cannot be made like that. We in fact have to keep Quality, the precision of the parts, manage the work shift, etc. And the fact that I can't find employees & sub-con & materials very easily overhere. In fact I still have to inspect most parts and then "final tune" the seb rests myself. Sometimes I still have to turn/polish/grind/file some parts myself, only to make it more perfect.
Yes, I can make my production rate more higher but I have other businesses in Indonesia. Can't leave them because I have many loyal customers.
Live is a compromise of many things....

So,...that's perhaps aslo why Ernie doesn't reponse quick to your emails...? perhaps because he don't know exactly when he would receive the goods...
Just my guess...Any of the reasons that caused the delays, again please apologise me here!!!!!!

Also thanks you so much for your support and confidence in my products!
It's a pride enjoy for me to make the seb rests honestly! well, the fact that I'm a guy from a third world country....dumb, low tech, poor, etc...:D

God Bless you all,
seb. :)

Seb, Dumb? I think not. Low tech might be true, but Hi tech isn't always all it is made out to be. Tolerance stacking can be a real pain in the back side, robotic welding with little or no penetration, circuit boards with cold solder joints or loose wire wraps ect.(30 years of field service work) It does increase production rate but not always at a lesser cost or higher quality. When HI tech is 100% it is great stuff, but those gremlins can be real nasty.
Give a me couple minutes to get into my escape module before you guys start blasting me with the 20mm depleted uranium rounds.

We use SEB it's a great product but something else is available now in Europe

eww,
Sorry about failing you last year.
I have tension screws in stock. If you still want them contact me at 307-257-7431 and I will get you set-up.

To all,

Sometimes I do get behind in returning calls or emails.
Probably more in emails than anything.
My intention is not to frustrate customers, and my apologies for the times when it has happened.

I say do not apologize. Do not apologize for the speed that you turn out your products. I personally feel it is the care and time you put into each piece that make it a top notch product....... Hand fitting or fine tuning by a human is a nice touch, especially when you want to insure every rest that leaves your hands is the best it can be.

Keep up the good work.

Seb makes Custom Front Rests. And, like Custom Rifles you will have to wait
a while for one, but the finished product is well worth the wait. "Badlands"
