Score match in Harrison this Saturday.

We will host our first VFS match of 2008 at the Harrison Sportsmans' Club in Harrison, MI this Saturday, 31 May. We shoot one agg at 100 yds.

The range will be open at 8 AM for registration and coffee and donuts, etc... Competition starts promptly at 10 AM.

We shot three classes... VFS rifles, factory rifles and customized factory rifles. Prizes are awarded for all classes that have three or more competitors.

I had every intention to make it this Saturday but the wife made the reservations and our flight is leaving on Thursday morning. We will see ya in June.

Harrison Weather

Sounds like the weather is going to be cloudy and 72 on saturday morning. We can take that. By the way, those new benches on the rimfire range are great. I have been tuning up the new rifle over there and they are mighty nice.
Look forward to seeing everyone on Saturday. Anxious to see how much better Eric is this year. That lad is coming on strong. Francis and Paul have done well with that apprentice...

Off To The Range

Time to to head off to the range for sweeping, mowing and leaf blowing. Looking forward to our first score shoot of the year. The weather is suppose to be overcast but 72 degrees. It will be good to see all our regulars and our new guys. At least the oil companies are teasing us and dropped the gas prices seven cents a gallon. For some reason it doesn't make me feel better.

After the last match some of us were talking about our 17 rimfires. We were joking around about shooting them in a score match. I am going to bring my 17 Mach II and shoot it just for fun. Who knows, maybe we can get something new started. Larry

We got your match...

We have a rimfire match next Saturday, 7 June. It is for any rimfire including your 17 HMR. I know there will be at least one other one there.
