Sacramento Valley Airgun Benchrest Match - Sunday August 26th, Ione, CA

Location: Sacramento Valley Shooting Center Directions - www.sacvalley.org/contact.html
Match will be held at Range 11 (take a right at the T by the office, follow road to Range 11)

Registration and Practice opens at 8:00am, first match starts at 9:00am (Registration will be open until 12pm)

Cost: $10 for Folsom Shooting Club members, $12 for non-members

Beverages and a light lunch will be provided.

We will shoot Light Varmint and Heavy Varmint USA Air Rifle Benchrest classes. We will also shoot a Sporter/Hunter match for the popular sporting style airguns The Match will be shot at 25 meters using the World Benchrest 25m target. If you have an air rifle with a wooden or synthetic stock with no adjustable components in .25 caliber or less, 35fpe or less, and some soft bags for rests you are in. Rifles that qualify are Marauders, Rapids, HW100, FX Royale, Cyclone, BSA's AirArms S400/410/510s, Daystate Airwolfs, Mark 3's & 4's, Huntsmans etc. We will also be having an Unlimited 50 Yard match. The only requirement for the unlimited match is the rifle must be .25 caliber or less. Descriptions of classes below.

If you have an air rifle and would like give benchrest a try or you are just looking for a place to shoot your air rifle come on out and join us. Our first match in July was a lot of fun and the rifles covered the gamut from 10 meter SSP rifles to exotic Steyrs and Edguns.

Sporter/Hunter Class
Rifles: Hunter/Sporter Style Rifles not designed for Field Target or Benchrest competition
Caliber- .177 to .25
Power maximum 35 FPE
Weight Less than 12 lbs including scope and accessories
Distance 25 meters, 50 shots
Rests Soft bags only front and rear, no adjustable rests, Harris style bipods allowed
