I am thinking about trying RWS brass for a 300 WM HG that I will eventually have built. I have used Lapua in 6.5-284, .220 Russian and .223 with great results. I have heard from someone I trust that RWS very tough brass and holds up very well. I would usually stick to Lapua but I was amazed to see that RWs is actually cheaper than Lapua in .300 WM I am not a shooter that hotrods brass anymore but brass longevity coupled with lower cost sure sounds attractive. Does any one have experiance with both brands? Thanks

Having used both brands in my own HG current barrel, the Lapua will not hold up on the primer pockets like the RWS does. Not by a long way. The consistancy for weight and the concentricity for both brands in the batches i have used show up as being similar, both very good.
