Rung barrel ?!!?

Thanks for all the input. I have not shot any groups with this except to sight it in when I first got it. So if there are excessive flyers I have yet to discover. I hope to get out this weekend and shoot a bunch of targets and see what it does.
I talked to my gunsmith on the phone and he goes with the reamer damage theory. Cheers AL
 
Several years ago I bought a well-used 1411 prone gun... and it shot great. Like yours, would hold an inch or less at 100m (bought for silhouette also). The fact that it had a 6 o'clock flame cut that you could have planted corn in didn't seem to bother it... but it bothered me. So.... I spent a lot of money getting a perfect barrel and a lot more getting it installed and now it'll hold an inch or less at 100m. If you can convince Dieter and Jochen that this was the fault of their elves you can probably get it replaced for free. It could happen.
