Rimfire VS Centerfire Hammer/Striker Energy

I seem to remember that the hammer/striker energy needed to reliably ignite rimfires is more than that needed to ignite centerfire primers. But, I can't find those energy specs anywhere.
Can anybody help? Am I correct or just senile?:confused:

When I worked as a firearms engineer for the Army, I had access to the SAAMI manuals. As I remember it, primer sensitivity test data was in the SAAMI manuals. But, I'm retired and don't have access anymore. I called a major U.S. ammo manufacturer and asked them. But they said that they would be in trouble with SAAMI if they gave that type of info to anyone who wasn't a SAAMI member. So, I'm still looking. If I find it, I'll let you know.
