There is nothing quite like exact measurements
that's why torque wrenches were invented and its very nice of folks such as Jerry to tell us what the appropriate torque value to use. If my memory serves, Stiller said he used 35fp for RF and 50fp for CF barrels. If one uses these values, they always know where they are. Same goes for reloading, MEASURE, MEASURE, MESURE. There is likely no adverse difference between 25 and 35 fp I wouldn't think and they aren't likely to ever come loose. I've used 100fp on CF barrels in the past without any adverse consequences but I don't think 100fp is necessary. I'm using 50fp currently.
