Larry Fuesse Wins Isabella 100 & 200 Score Shoot Sept. 10, 2016
The Isabella County Sportsman's Club was host to the 100 & 200 yard score shoot on Saturday, September 10, 2016.
First off, I know that I speak for all of the competitors when I say "Thank You" to Steve Robbins for being the match director, Marge Robbins for signing in the competitors, Freddy Ross for taking care of the target detail, Harry Robbins for being the communications liason, and to Mike Johnston for helping with the targets! This was Steve's last match as match director. So many thank you's to you Steve for a job well done! I just hope that I can live up to your standard!
Jim Militello outdistanced everyone else in the 100 yard match with his winning 250-21X count! Pat Colwell won the Sandbagger Class with his fine 250-14X! Dudley Pierce won the Hunter Class outright with a 248-5X.
The 200 yard match was commandeered by Larry Fuesse with his 250-6X! John Vanmiddlekoop won the Sandbagger Class with his fine 243-6X. And Dudley Pierce again was the Hunter Class winner with his fine 242-4X.
Larry Fuesse won the grand aggregate with his winning 500-21X! Matt Dardas was close on his heels with his 499-27X. And winning the Sandbagger Class was none other than John Vanmiddlekoop with a 493-22X. Dudley Pierce was the lone grand agg winner in the Hunter Class with his 490-9X!
Again, thank you to all of those that helped make this a successful 2016 benchrest season at the Isabella County Sportsmans Club!
