I'm shooting the bore rider reamer and have been for the past two or three years. Is it any better than another reamer? I have no idea. Getting ready to chamber up a new barrel or two before the Rattlesnake and Nationals. It will probably be a bore rider as no sense switching horses midstream. It seems to work best with lots of seating pressure. If you think about it, with the gradual throat that it has, it takes away the ability to change pressures with seating depth changes. So, you have to get your pressure somewhere else. More powder, tighter bushings. Very forgiving on seating depth. But, also you lose the seating depth part of the equation when making load changes. My bore rider reamer is a .265" neck. I was going to change over to a new Henriksen reamer that I have, but looked at the neck and its a .262 neck. Have lots of brass turned for .265 and loaded to fireform so will stick with the .265" neck.
The bore rider reamer amounts to being about a 1/4 degree leade instead of a 1 degree 50 or 30' leade.
