Rattlesnake at Raton

Does anybody know if there will be 2 or 3 relays? I'm sure being a world points match will bring alot of shooters in.

I wish they had scheduled this match so that it would not be the same weekend as the IBS nationals. It is a qualifier for the World Team. In my case I will be going to Weikert since I know and like the folks there and want to support them. If it was any other week I would go to Raton. I have only been there once and like the facility.
As it stands I will only have attended the St. Louis match and the NRSA Nationals. Pretty tough to qualify with just 2 matches. We had some family health issues so I was not able to go to the first 2 qualifying matches. I wonder how many others are affected in their quest to qualify by this poor scheduling.

I have not heard about the Rattlesnake at Raton but will be attending the Rattlesnake at Greenriver, only 9 shooters but the prize is much better !!!!!!!
hopefully just 1 relay

they scheduled the rattlesnake on the same weekend as the arkansas state shoot, too. and both matches are in the same region.

Larry,

Just a note:
Not sure it is poor scheduling, you have an NBRSA qualifier and an IBS nationals as far as I know the two organizations do not check with each other for scheduling. It is your choice to choose which one you want to go to. If you wish to make the USA Team then you should go to the qualifier to help your chances. It’s a decision on your part to go to a match of your choice not the problem of ranges that have had their scheduled dates at the same time each year.

So get your self in your motor home and drive to Raton so I can show you how to tune your equipment without using flags

Nobody's gonna get that, and being BRC, nobody will ask either...................but you're right, your prize will beat anybody's at Raton hands down!

Ok, I'mm bite, What are the prizes?

Uncleb drew a rocky mountain bighorn tag in an area called the Rattlesnake near the town of Green River, Utah. It's a once in a lifetime tag (literally) and his "trophy" should be a pretty nice one----with any luck!

Tom,

I know they are different organizations but I've met the Presidents and Directors of both organizations and have found them to be pretty good people. I would just ask that someone pick up a phone when important matches potentialy clash and work it out.
As to going to Raton and getting another lesson from you, I wish I could old bud. Be good.

Larry
