Problem Building an AR Lower

but my suggestion is that if all parts are rr, call rr.
if you have a poor quality lower, up to u 2 fix it.
no problems with my rr match.

for those that were saying which goes in first,not all triggers will slide in with the selector in place. drop the trigger in the bottom of the lower, then install the selector, then the trigger pin.
with no selector measure down to the top of the rear of the trigger, then do the same measure ment with the selector in place....now the diff is the current interference. if its a big number...id start replace parts, if small then file/grind.

ar trig problem

Most of the time you have to remove some of the top of the rear leg/s of the trig to clear the safety but not so much as to allow the trig to release with safety on. O.W.L. :D:D:D:D:D:D
 
Lower building Problem

I called RRA The issue is that many lower forgings are off center with respect to the spring/detent for the pistol grip. Some of these lowers would have been scrapped but due to the potential ban, they are on the market. Thus the selector safety is off side to side and hits the trigger..BJ at RRA suggested just to file away about .002" of the part of the safety which is hitting the trigger and all will be working fine..
Issue is therefore side to side failure of the trigger to line up with the safety slot on the selector switch...Hooray..He also said it would be easier than filing the trigger which is more than surface hardened. Live and learn..
 
AR Lower`

Problem fixed..the fire side of the safety switch had a raised circular area of metal from
???casting///machining which impeded trigger pull in fire position. I compared this safety with another from a built upper and found the same circular area which was outlined but totally flat. I filed off the raised part of my safety switch and it worked perfectly thereafter.Thanks
