I have just reloaded a bunch of .300 WinMag. I grabed the worng primers (large rifle Mags) and reloaded alot. Dose anybody know if this is alright or is it best to just disasemble all the rounds and start over with the right components? I put a 180 gr. spitzer on top of 70 grs of H4831 with a CCI 250 Mag. primer. Is there a chart or formula that I check to see if this is safe? Any help would save me a lot of time. Thanks for any help that anybody can give me.

Sure. You can start over. I've done it many times. When decapping just go S-L-O-W. Throw a towel over the press if you like, to make you feel good, but I've decapped hundreds and never had a problem. Again, just go S-L-O-W. ;)

I use LR Magnum primers in my .270 Win all the time with no adverse effect.

i have used std lr primers in both 300 win mag and 7mm rem mag....with that powder.....
