PPC to 30br?

Rimrock actions are made to extract AND eject ppc and BR cases. You can have the best of both worlds.

I believe the OP is looking to buy a used rifle to get into VFS. Is there a Rimrock around somewhere?

Donald, I though Jerry put a generic 308 bolt face on all his actions except the drop ports. At least, the ones I have are all 308, except the drop port on my Rail Gun..........jackie

Yes that is true Jackie. But I found that my RBLPRE would not eject the cases unless I rebated the rims a bit. Also round off the edge of the 30BR case as it kicks out as soon as you clear the small ejector port. My drop port is like all specific to the caliber, 6ppc in my case. I think Jerry is making the DP in 30BR now, not sure. Just another of the nice things about the Viper actions.
