How closely are the action bedding guide pins fitted to the inside diameter of the pillars? Or is there step/taper to them, that I can't see?

I ask.....because I normally use "T" type pins/screws.....in a somewhat odd pre-bedding set-up.

Kevin, the pillars are 5/16" I.D. and there's a 1/4" I.D. sleeve pressed in the pillars to center the action screws. -Al
