I'm heading out at about 5:AM Thursday morning, will be there Friday sometime. It's about a 20 or so hour drive from the East Side of Houston.
When I get there, have to fire 100 pieces of brass one more time to get them ready to go to the line, (they are just fire formed once), but besides that, I am ready. Or at last as ready as I am going to be.

Going to leave Cortez Colorado at 2am Friday ,Teec Nos Pos, Kayenta & Tuba city then stop in Flagstaff for breakfast and hope to be backing in my space at the range by 10am. My 1st Nationals.

I have never ate anywhere there ,usually just keep going on to Mary's café out on the north side of Flagstaff, the chicken fried steaks & hamburger steaks are worth the wait .

The wind has been raising hell this afternoon, its really blowing at the range right now, I hope my stuff is still on the bench in the morning , several more people showed up today , in the 90s everyday.

Yeh, if it's this way Monday, Unlimited is going to be torture.
My little range thermometer said 99 at about 2 this afternoon.
Berger is really doing a great job running this thing. They have ice chests of water all around, and mange the practice cease fires in a very proffesional manner.
My Rail Gun is stuck in "mediocre" mode right now. Might try a few things different tomorrow.

108F in Pheonix, buncha whimps. We had 108F one day at a past IBS Nationals in Canastota New York. Now, that is hot!!
Worse yet that year HillLier had just recently been elected to the US Senate and some inconsiderate BR shooter had just made a 300 yard head shot on a groundhog on the Canastota range. TB remembers.
