opinions on FREEDOM BENCHREST

to read your thoughts and opinions on "Freedom Benchrest"
 
i honestly do not know enough about them to have an opinion, which is why i asked( i am sure you noticed, when i have an opinion, i put it out there) i would like to see what went into their points list. i have a 600 yd ltgun score national win and a 1000yd heavy gin score national win. only one went into the list for hall of fame as one group chose to ignore the list.

I don't know exactly what went into the list but was told all records/results from as many orgs/matches supplied or accumulated were included and it was based off SOY points. Some type of formula was devised to equalize points (1000 yd IBS points measured in .*** Vs whole number points in other orgs) and the HOF list was made from that.
I'm sure it's not perfect but to my knowledge no one else has attempted it.

Care to elaborate on that? I'd be interested to know the particulars

If one group chose to ignore the list but there are points from both NBRSA & IBS was one of your wins in a different organization? Or was it an individual club that chose to ignore?

How many shooters? Where and when?

I'm geographically closer (400 miles) to two 600 yard Freedom matches that were IBS matches in 2023 and possibly next year there will be 1000 yard Freedom 200 miles away. With one IBS 1000 almost 700 miles away and the closest IBS 600 over 1200 miles away I'm going to shoot Freedom for those reasons but will do some 1000 IBS at DC and the Rendezvous at Vapor Trail.

nbrsa 2013/15 not at home so not sure, lr nationals in byers(denver) won lg score 600 yds,got points in lr hf record, 1k got rained out as a national, but we did shoot one day and it counted as a match, not national
2021/22 1000 ibs nationals, hg score, no points in hf, deep creek montana

That's odd, there's plenty of points from both orgs that were counted into the HOF list.
 
the problem is one does not publish points even tho they should...i have two wins only 1 point, all of this is why i asked where did the actual data come from, win lists or published points. who can i ask in freedom ??
