New Powder

What is the source for W296 and H110 being the same powder? I'm asking because the charges are not identical for the two powders in reloading manuals, at least in .357 magnum and .22 Hornet, the two places I've experimented with them.

The difference you see in the manuals between 296 and H110 is simply the difference the various labs found between their different lots of powder.

I wouldnt know, but i assumed the copper eliminator ordeal would be nothing more than a graphite or similar coating in the powder that coats the bore protecting it from copper? But maybe not?? We will just have to see. Lee
I agree, and I think that good 8208 we bought last year that came from the Iran- contra thing was loaded down well
with copper erasure. Seemed to leave an almost moly like coating in the barrels

Yes it dooo...Or seems too..! Even with the carbon quantity in the barrel "this" "8208" Shoot's..!

Just this weekend Me and a buddy were shoot'n factory .223 Savages with this "8208"... Good shooting factory 223's but typical light coppers.... We both noted that copper at the muzzles were non existent.... Not to say there was ZERO copper in these bores but it was very reduced..........! Neat..! Finished with a .198 3 shot group after 30 rounds bet cleaning... Oh, the wind got real steady on that 3 shot group... That HELPS..!

Of course, the custom barrels ...CARBON only.. Basically no blue on the patches...
