New guy needs a sporter

I am Dean Ackman and am looking for advice on a sporter barrel.
I have an Anshutz, but need to put a new barrel on it.
I was thinking on going with a Shilen Ratchet Calfee Contour Sporter Barrel.
Shilen has sent me a note saying 8-10 months to get one.
Needless to say I can not wait that long and compete next year.

I really would appreciate any input from you all on what else would work.
I really want to compete in all three classes.

Anybody got an extra one just laying around?

p.s forgot to mention I am shooting IR50/50 and probably some ARA

Dean, do you want it to be a fairly competitive sporter or set on a DIY project?
 
I have had better results with Broughton and Benchmark barrels on my sporters. However, I advise you to do what your gunsmit recommends. He has a history of building high performing rifles
