When I first started shooting formal BR in the early 70's there were few custom action makers and fewer shooters that had them.
We primarily shot Rem 700s, 600s or xp100s that we sleeved. R.W.Hart made a bolt stop/release that was installed in a threaded hole and was spring loaded. You just pulled a knob, released the bolt and it went back in after you released it.
Do any of you other old guys have one around you'd sell or possibly give me a direction to look for one? I know I can just thread a hold and use a small bolt but I'm wanting something a little classier.

The last one of those I installed

on a 700, I believe I purchased from Sinclair. Great for when you put a Jewell BR trigger in your Rem 700.

Know exactly what you want, had about 4 or 5 of them. But that was a long time ago. Your only hope is for someone tearing a sleeved rifle apart.

high tech
did you know that if you slide a popsicle stick along side the bolt
it will release the stop and the bolt slides right out.
