yes I can make a longer handle but the handle is long enough if you push the cart. When you have 50 lbs or more on it, it is defiantely easier to push than pull.
The cart I needed simple and compact as I do not have a trailer to haul all my stuff to the shoots. My vehicle is a Ford Ranger so I have everything designed and stored in a manner so that it all fits in behind the seat or tool box. Only a few items need ride in the back of the truck.
In regards OLD PPC to a pivot on the handle this thing maneuvers quite easily. I am a self proclaimed tinkerer and do not have all the tools or skills required to start making all the bells and whistles. I ahve made what will get my items from the truck to the loading shack, truck to firing line, and will move me from bench to bench. There may be things more perfect out there but this works for me.
Thanks for a heads up with something to keep the rifle from falling over in the cradle. It is pretty darn solid in there with just the foam and a front stop but maybe I have an idea I can use to incorporate into it to hold the rifle.
