NBRSA Hunter Nat?

I called Bill Small tonight and he was not home but Keri his lovely wife told me she always listens with one ear to that is going on and it soulnded to her that Greg Sweezey (possible spelling error here, I'm Canadian LOL) won the 100+200 agg and Elzie Scott was 2nd and Elzie's son was 3rd. I will call and talk to Bill in about an hour so I will get all of the details soon.

Yes, back to back HBR Nationals for Greg, that is one for the books!! Congrats Greg!

Way to go, Greg! :cool: For those that haven't had the pleasure of meeting Greg, he's one of the sports true good guys.

A bit of trivia: Greg is also the 2009 IBS Hunter champion, winning that titile at the IBS Score Nats at Webster City, Iowa last season. With this NBRSA Hunter Nats win, I believe he joins Guy Green and Guy Chism as the only shooters to win Hunter National Championships in both the IBS and NBRSA.

Strange that all three of them have first names that start with 'G', isn't it? :D

he is a nice guy from what I saw. Sorry I wasn't able to spend more time talking to him.

Al, ya beat me to it, but here's another tidbit or, two : Greg joins Hunter legend Carrol Green, in becoming only the second individual to win back-to-back NBRSA Hunter National Championships! :eek::) The good Mr. Green won the first two NBRSA Hunter Championships - way back when!:eek: Oh, last year, Mr. Swezey won BOTH the NBRSA and IBS Hunter Championships - so, he's done a sort of unofficial three-peat! Not too shabby for a guy who has been known to associate with BIG MIKE . . . and Elzie Scott! :eek:;) RG
