N133 in a 223

Varget

I have had vary good luck with Varget also, I rate it among the best for the job it does.

I sure hope were not sabotaging this thread but I too have had good results with Varget... only with the heavy weights...75's and 80's

I've been shooting it with my one in seven and one in eight Krieger barrels with the heavy for caliber bullets also and have no complaints. I have not had the unable to figure out pressure for temprature problems I've encountered with N-133.

I use N135 with the 55's

1-14 twists, unreal velocity and accuracy, highest that I have ever seen postged for a 223, please use thick cup primers. You will know right off if the firing pin in your bolt needs bushed.

VV powders

Best powder for me in the < 55 grain weight is VV 133,
The very best accuracy with 69 SMK's is with VV 135,
and You guessed it the VV 140 for the 77 SMK.
Rifle is a Colt Elite HBar 24" 1 in 9 twist.

...I don't shoot the heavies with VV-133 but 25grs & Berger 40's is the cat's meow..lol..I know 3@100 don't sound like much, but It serves my purpose..That's all I need..;)...
