I've always had a like for this guy as being competent, practical and less of a politician than most. I think America missed the boat when it elected what's his name president instead of Romney. However....

“Utah has a lot to teach the politicians in Washington,” Romney says in the video. “Utah has balanced its budgets. Washington is buried in debt. Utah exports more abroad than it imports. Washington has that backwards. Utah welcomes legal immigrants from around the world. Washington sends immigrants a message of exclusion.”

I now think he's no better than most, playing loose with the facts. Our current potus seems intent on being friendly to LEGAL immigrants, not illegal ones. I fail to see where the exclusion to LEGAL immigrants on the part of the current admin is. Am I missing something?

Yes he is sort of a centrist Republican, but at least he's not a FA, anti gun democrat.

Will he vote along with the opposition most of the time or be absent when he can't make a decision?
He was gov in Mass a ultra liberal state, What are his real beliefs?
Does he believe in the US constitution ? Or is he like others who believe it's just a piece of paper keeping them from doing what they really want to do.

the answers to which I don't have. However, he has got to be better than anything the democrats are likely to run. Sad isn't it?
 
He is accomplished

Mitt Romney is smart. He has done very well in business ventures with his own money. He has done the United States well by helping in two sets of Olympic games. I have never heard anyone say he is not honest. He has lived a long time and kept his name clean.

I think the man will do.
 
I see him as just another McCain and Flake who is going to be nothing other than just another obstructionist. It's pretty clear he has no intentions of helping the current President achieve his agenda. All though some might not care for the current we the people elected him to do just what he had promised and we need someone who will help him give what we the people want and everything they voted for.

Romney in 2nd debate

I believe Romney could have won if he hammered Obama in the 2nd debate regarding Benghazi. He needed to put his foot on Obama's throat but he, along with moderator Candy Crowley, allowed Obama to skate. I can't help but believe that hurt Romney heavily. The narrative out of the White House was Benghazi was due to a 3rd rate movie proved to be a lie yet that was the story they pushed for several weeks. Romney would do more for his image by remaining silent about Trump. Whether one likes Trump or not, he won the election and that is as much a reflection of the American people's sentiment as anything else.

minus one. In my opinion, this country elected the most incompetent President ever elected...even more so than Andrew Johnson after Lincoln. He shows his ignorance with every tweet! On his third wife after he threw the first two away when he got bored with them. Bankrupt four times with no intention of paying back past creditors, and opening a fraud "Trump University" which bilked thousands out their money. And we elected this guy??
