Micrometer Mounts

Here are a few picturs of the Brackney mounts Pete. However, and please let me know... Aren't these "target style mounts" illegal in Hunter Class shooting?

A while back, the Sanctioning Bodies dropped that "target mount" provision. The extrenal adjustable mounts and frozen scopes are legal.........jackie

I know for sure that the NBRSA cancelled that rule. I have scanned my IBS Rule book, and see no mention of it. But sometimes you can read the rules time over, and still miss something............jackie

There is no prohibition

In IBS for sure. I don't know about "The Alphabet" but I think Jackie is right.

The problem with the Brackney setup for HBR is the 1" tubes on most 6X scopes. They can be shimmed but i find them visually unpleasing and it might add an area of question as to their reliability.

Of course, one could buy one of them nice Lite Leup 30 MM tubed variable Varmint scopes and have IT frozen ;).
