A number of years ago while attending church and after the sermon the military veterans where asked to stand. It made me feel good in that was the first time I was told as well as others that our service time was appreciated, especially being a Korean war time Vet.
 
Having preached in churches on Vet. Day or that week one of the hardest things I've had was to get them to stand up. HEE HEE
 
I am on a cruise ship ISLAND PRINCESS with a Itallian Captain in Alaska. He had a 1 min sillence and played taps to the fallin service personnel at 9am this morning. Made me feel proud..
