Hi all.
What an great 3 day weekend of shooting! Please see attached pdf. and pictures.
Congratulations to Mark Walker on his fine shooting, and winning the 3 gun, Washington State Championship / Ed Frombach Memorial with a .2403" agg.
Of special note:
Dan Kjelland won the Sporter Grand Agg on Saturday with a .2385" agg
Mark Walker won the LV Grand Agg on Sunday with a .2209" agg
Jeff Lewis won the HV Grand Agg on Monday with a .1988" agg.
Congratulations to all.
After the match, the points were tallied up to see who would be awarded the "Shooter of the Year" trophy. This is the best ranking of all the grand aggregates (100 and 200 yd combined) throughout the year. To my surprise, we had a tie. Congratulations to Mark Walker and Jeff Lewis for sharing our Northwest Region "Shooter of the Year" award.
We had several shooters travel from Idaho, Canada, all parts of WA and OR to attend our match. Thank you for traveling up to Tacoma!
A special Thank You to Teresa Boers, who prepared beef brisket and pulled pork with all the fixings for our Saturday night bbq. Our potluck dinners are a big hit. Thank you to all who contribute!!
This weekend wraps up the 2016 season in Tacoma. This year a new covered area for the loading area was built. Huge thanks to Duane Hatch and TRRC for making it happen!
Special thanks to our crew for their outstanding service this entire year!
