Even though there may not be any IBS clubs in your area, any public range (such as the one you plan to use) is a good place to start as are local gun shops.

When I first began shooting bench rest rifles I found one book that was both entertaining to read as well as containing a wealth of information. The book is titled "The Accurate Rifle" written by Warren Page and first published in the mid '70's. I know that sounds "old" but most of the material is just a valid today as it was 35 years ago. I think it's still in print, but if not, I expect it could found in most libraries.

Since we both shoot PPCs I would be glad to spend an afternoon with you if you lived closer to southern MO, but
I've been shooting for over 30 years and should you have any specific questions, feel free to PM or email me and I'll do my best to point you in the right direction.

Thank you for the reply. I do have Warren Page's book and soon to get Tony Boyer's; The book of rifle accuracy.
Also thanks for the invite. I once had a girlfriend who lived in Joplin. Are you near?
