Larry Tillery Wins Louisianna State VFS

We had the Louisianna STate VFS today in Lake Charles.

The weather report said 100% chance of rain and 15 to 20 mph winds, which caused quite a few shooters to skip out. But we still had a good group of really competitive shooters.

The rain held out untill Trophy time, but the wind was there from minute one. Richard Pullum shot a great 250 24x in some really tough conditions for the win at 100.

After lunch at 200, the wind got even worse. Larry Tillery shot abgreat 250 5x to win the 200, and go on to win the Louisianna State Championship.

Congratulations to Richard and Larry for a great day.

I'll tell ya what...

First...congrats to the winners. But, if ya'll can shoot like that in a 20-30mph wind up HERE...I'm buying dinner and drinks for the top ten! 24x in any condition is very good, but in 20-30mph wind is just insane.

Ya'll come north and make me buy ya dinner.

It'll be hard to find an IBS or NBRSA score match 'round here but iffin' ya get within a point of a perfect 264 at 100, I'll buy!
