Lapua brass- disappointment again

Dusty Stevens

Hollow Point Dispenser
Just got in 2 new boxes from brunos lot 4ph5013 and both came with exactly 99pcs in em. Guess so far thats better than the 8boxes of 6br brass that had a dozen split shoulders i got last year but i havent inspected these closely yet so time will tell.

Have you contacted Lapua USA and stated your problem and ask them to make good before posting here.
Usually they are very good at correcting isssues.

Wow. Ain't that the sh*t. I am truly amazed.
Here I thought Lapua thought: it was easier, cheaper, er whatever and put an extra piece of brass in my last 2 boxes.
You know, so they don't have to listen to angry Amerikers......

Label on the lid, lower right hand corner, it says, "lot: Pxxxxxxxxxx"

What you have is the code name for the calibre of the brass. It's repeated top left.

This thread reminded me of the olden days when Sierra used to put an extra bullet in every box. That way if you ever found a damaged bullet you were still ahead.

Anyone else remember the good old days?

No

Anyone complain if you get too much in a box of brass and bullets

But you shouldn't get less than advertised. They need to recal their scales. I bought a box of Berger bullets once that had 90 in a box of 100. I asked if they could send me the 10 not there and they sent me a whole other box. That was very nice and beyond the call IMO.

Good customer relations, especially since you hit them with a reasonable request in the first place.
Funny thing is it was probably easier for them to send you a box than to dig out and package 10 bullets.
