It was a cold and windy weekend in Plymouth, MI.
Sat. wind gusts in the 30-40 mph range. Temp. low 50's. And some rain in the morning.
Sun. morning was cold with a light sprinkle, 50's. Sunday after a great lunch. Back to the twitchy-windy conditions.
2 gun results.
Jeff Gaidos .2254.
Dominic Grunas .2714.
Greg Reed .2796.
Jack Neary .2851.
Jeff Stover .3132.
Steve Theye .3159.
Vic Potts .3234.
Don Rosette .3342.
Vera Carter .3585.
Dave Abbott .3610.

Would like to thank the Canadian Shooters for participating. Most were on the Canadian World Benchrest Teams. Even Bill Gammon made a showing.

Jerry Jarrett from Ohio. Member of the Shelby County Club. Won his first Benchrest Trophy. Jerry won 1st place. LV 200y. Agg. with a .2428. And this was after an equipment failure in the morning. Good shooting, Jerry.

Shelby County hold the last Eastern Region Group Tournament. Oct. 22-23.

Thanks for posting Tim.

Jeff Gaidos basically kicked ass all weekend in crap conditions. On Saturday morning during the full blow, he started with a .125, .087 and then a .128. A .335 (I think one shot out) or so in match 4 proved he was human. His last group was a .19xx. Congratulations Jeff. To say his shooting and rifle were HOT is an understatement.

Hi Jeff.
Thanks for coming out.
Jeff had some impressive groups. Don't know how he does it with Jack's wind flags.....

Like Dana said "can't help the weather".
Should have been here in April. Sat. and Sun were very windy. Sat. 30 mph gusts. Sun there were some 40-50 mph gusts.
Dom. Grunas won that. Only shooter without a 1" group on Sun.
See you at the Super Shoot.
Tim

GREAT SHOOTING JEFF,

Do yourself a big favor and DO NOT sell any of the great bullets you are making that way the rest of us may have a chance.

Congratulations Jeffy !
Top Secret stuff, ain't bullets ,ain't equipment. Jeffy tought me how to shoot WWCCA-NGBTA( Never Goin' Back There Again) in nasty blind tailwind bushwackin' conditions, but fortunately ( for everybody else) I havn't been back since.
Nice shootin Jeffy.

Congratulations to those who shot at WWCCA

Joel, Regarding the conditions at WWCCA in Michigan. They are not really bad if you pay attention to the conditions. I have found that shooting the let-ups to be the safest for me, as I am a coward during the push. But you are truly correct..the conditions can be just as you describe. And then there is mirage, heh heh. Although WWCCA is not as bad as Holton. But congratulations to Jeff, those aggs are fantastic, especially when you look at the other scores. There are some very good shooters in that group.
