Does anyone know what length of Jackets were used on the discontinued
Berger 25 Caliber 78 and 82 grain bullets?
Ted

heck

The only thing I found in the list that Berger sent out that might come close is for the .257, 87 grain is the 940 jacket.

Thanks for that I have seen those as well.
Those are the jackets that RG uses on the BIB 88 grain flat base.
If I can find out the size used in the shorter discontinued bullets then I will put a WTB add in the classifieds just in case some one has a few buckets laying around they aren't going to use.

Ted, regrettably, Berger/J4 is now offering only two [.25 Cal.] jacket lengths: 0.940" and 1.125" long. When I first rec'd the Niemi dies, J4 also offered 1.020" and a 0.850" long .25 caliber jackets. If you score a set of dies, you'll [probably] be able to make as light as 75 Gr. using the .940" long jackets. Good shootin'! RG

Thanks RG
I keep thinking about getting some dies. I am getting into making swagged lead bullets for Pistol shooting.

My thinking about making bullets doesn't really have anything to do with not being happy with your bullets. They are top notch.
I guess sometimes a guy just wants to do stuff.
