Thank you all for your kind condolences, prayers and many, many cards...! I was very touched by everyone's calls and deep concern about my mom...

Mom was 83 when she entered heaven on the 13th. She lived a very full life. She was married to my dad for 51 years and raised 4 great kids (welll... maybe only 3 great kids ;>) Like my father, she was never far from a party. She loved life that's for sure!

The past 8 years were very difficult for her, as she battled Lung Cancer, COPD, spinal stenosis, and recently Thyroid and AFIB issues. It was just too much for her to bear any more... Myself and my 3 sisters were all by her side when she passed away.

She is truly in a better place now.

Thanks again for all your prayers and well wishes!

Jack, just remember she is in a better place now. I am sure she is proud of you and is looking down on you right now.
