for either 600 or 1000 yards or both using 6.5x47 Lapua brass in a HV Krieger barrel. I need suggestions on bullets and powder. I am sort of leaning to the JLK VLD's or Bergers.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Berger 130's sorted (if you can afford it buy enough of one lot to wear out the barrel) and H4350 did very well for me at 600. That said I'm going to a dasher this year.

Why the dasher? Just curious. I'm still not quite committed to the 6.5x47. I've also got the 6BR and possibly the dasher. What gives?

My 6.5 barrel was getting high on round count and I wanted to try something different. You can't deny the record of of the 6BR and improved versions, everyone has a BR so I went with the dasher just to try something a little different. Bullets are cheaper, uses less powder, kicks less so less upset in the bags. My thinking is that if I can shoot it free recoil I can eliminate one more variable. While I did well the last few years guys shooting the 6's did better.
