After a long cold winter, spring has arrived in the Bluegrass State. As predictable as California Chrome in the Derby, Mike Niblett won the Grand with a 500-24X. Jerry Nettles took 200 yards with a 250-5X, and was the only other shooter to remain clean throughout the day. Chris Roland had a monster agg going at 200 yards with 12 X's, but fell victim to the rapidly switching winds. At one point from the bench to the 200 yard target, my six flags read tailwind, headwind, tailwind, headwind, tailwind, headwind, I kid you not! Chris ended up with a 498-32X. I dropped one X on my 23rd shot at 100 yards. Everyone was pulling for me to get the perfect score, and I was sorry to let them down. Hopefully, the stars will align again, and I will do better next time. Thanks to Mike and the crew at BGSL for a great shoot.
Cheers,
Keith
