Yes they absolutely will grow back or spring back. You can measure them after sized and after they sit a half hour or so using a comparator and dial indicator. Unless you annealed them before you sized them. I don’t recommend annealing unless you have an annealing machine. I use an old bench source I’ve had for years. Works good enough for me.Super weird. Brass that I pushed the shoulder back loaded and ejected. Two hours later it did not. Im not sure if it sprung back that much or the residual lubricant made them chamber. I scrubbed the chamber and barrel and dont see any obstructions
Id be so much happier if it was but im almost certain by the measurements that is isn'tHard to tell from a picture. Might be a 30BR
They were quite popular or are quite popular with Benchrest score shooters.
A lot of clubs that shot score, club matches not sanctioned matches allowed guys to build heavy Rifles. As there was no weight limit rules in the club matches.
Thank you for the information! I was thinking they were slightly older than that. Im enjoying shooting the 308 and will enjoy the 308x1.5 as soon as I find dies at a reasonable priceYour two rifles appear to be late '60's early '70's restricted class BR rigs . Back then NBRSA had two Unlimited classes, restricted and unrestricted. the restricted rifles had to be shot from conventional sand bag set ups, while the unrestricted could be shot from a return to battery rest. The restricted class was discontinued in the early '70's due to lack of interest.
