I am one lucky man!!! Pic please look!!

Skeet,

About women, I am in a position to know.

I have been married 50 years to the same wonderful lady and we have two beautiful and well educated daughters (both have masters). We have two granddaughters. I know some things about women.

Women are detail people. Even the little ones.
We who have daughters are truly blessed.
Treat your daughters right for they will chose your nursing home.

Love for your family is never corney, Skeetlee. That's a beautiful trio you have there. Congratulations of your 11th. Wife and I just celebrated our 52nd (I met her when she was 12 - married her when she was 18) and I'm in the "lucky man" club too.
Your wise to take time to enjoy with your girls. They'll grow up faster than you realize. Thanks for sharing this special part of your life's experience with us.

The average married man lives to his late 70's
A man who has lost his wife dies a little sooner.
A heterosexual man with no wife dies a little sooner.
In Russia when political correctness destroyed the family the average male drank himself to death at 57."A woman needs a man like a fish needs a bicycle"(and the hell with what the children need )-gloria steinam.
The average homosexual male dies in his mid 40's.
Love for your family is not only not corney it keeps you alive and happy.

Thanks for sharing this with us. You know, there are guys out there who would find the feelings that you have described to be totally foreign to them. (Unfortunately, many guys.) You are very blessed indeed.

To me you look to be experiencing a "joy" in your heart that I have personally only witnessed (for the most part) in folks who humble themselves to God. As I would not want to inadvertently offend you or others who may not be even minimally religious, I will say that I also agree that non-believers can still be good people who experience happiness, and can share and give happiness to others too. If you don't mind, just for my own enlightenment, I'd like to know if I am right about you.... that the foundation for your happiness is faith based. (?) I don't know if you would feel comfortable to make a brief post here about it. (I say "brief" because I realize that these forums aren't intended to discuss religion) If you like, you're welcome to PM me. But, I also respect your privacy, and I'll understand if you just choose to skim over this and not respond in any fashion. Either way, I'm happy for you.

Happy anniversary.
God bless you and your family.
Randall
