Came up with this high speed threading attachment for manual lathes. Been using this for several years for some i.d. and o.d. threading ops and it has never failed.
Tried pitching this to shiraz, Cortina, precision mathews, speedy and others. hard to believe all were not interested.
Simple air cylinder and sliding clamp/air switch. works like a charm. From anacortes prototypes.
Enclosed photo cut right to left @360 rpm, full profile tooling straight in.
Some benefit with this is that set up time is about one minute, as I leave cylinder mounted. Rough it in with the sliding clamp/air switch, and tweak it with the compound. Good to go.
Also, parts and materials were $48.
