On Saturday June 27th the Harrison Sportsmans Club in Harrison Michigan will be hosting a 100 yard group match. Gates will open and registration begins at 08;00. Coffee and donuts will be available along with soft drinks. Competition begins at 10;00AM sharp. Range fees are $12.00 and $6.00 for shooters age 16 and under.
We look forward to seeing all our old friends and we have been very encouraged by the number of new shooters that have participated this year.

What the heck is that suppose to mean ??? I'm pretty easy to catch these days. Not sure about Al. Never had a foot race with him. My biggest problem is trying to get a better "X" count or shoot a smaller hole then him.
Comparing scores from years gone by, Harrison is generating some tough scores.

Sorry, guys...

you won't have Dick to kick around this Saturday. This is one of two weekends that I declared sacred when I retired from running benchrest matches.

We are going to the Bay Harbor Concours to kick exotic car tires and to play blackjack at the Odawa Casino.

It's the only date all summer that conflicts with our matches.

Targets

I am glad you have the targets covered Al. I thought of them yesterday and just went ahead and numbered three relays worth, but I like yours better. I have been a little preoccupied with my new toy and my mind has been wandering.
On one hand you will be missed this weekend Dick, but the way you have been shooting I might have a better chance with you sitting at the BlackJack table. Enjoy the car show.

I'll miss you guys too...

Those smarter than we will tell you that matches are more fun if you can just go and shoot and tend to your gun. Helping run the match makes everything harder and it really makes it harder to shoot well... just too many things on your mind.

See you next match. Right now we are gonna go see if they will let Glorya test drive the Bugatti Veyron this year. Last year they just laughed a lot.

Running The Match and Shooting

Trying to take care of the match and shooting is a tough task. At Harrison we are fortunate to have Bill running the line, and Al with his many skills on the computer keeping everything current. You still don't have much time to set flags, Clean, and organize equipment. Thank goodness we have a great group of shooters that are patient with us.
Weather forecast for the shoot tomorrow is 82 degrees and sunny with 5 to 10 mph breezes. I'll take it.
