Particularly fond of Jeff's success. He was one of the fellows that took advantage of the "loaner" program years ago. Worked pretty good that loaner deal and I wish more folks would make the investment.
Someone stated earlier that it should have been a tie. Well, according to the way things are measured in Benchrest, it was not a tie, but according to the mathematical laws of statistics, it is not valid to average to 10 thousandths place when the original measurements were made in thousandths. I know that I will have to put on my fire suit, but that is okay. I did not detect any bitterness from Jeff Gaidos because of this narrow loss. He is a class act. James
I'm not Wilbur but the SE region competitors had a complete setup Rifle, bullets, powder, rest etc. available to any new shooter that wanted to try benchrest. It was all donated by the competitors to promote new folks getting in the sport. Wilbur was the SE region director at the time and he was instrumental in starting this program.
By two or three, do you mean 2.0 and 3.0 (exactly 2 or exactly three) or are you talking about a rounded 2 and a rounded three i.e 1.937 and 3.001? There is a difference. James
