Hall of Fame Shooter to Appear at Lapua Booth

Tony Boyer will be signing copies of his new book

By going to the shotshow.org Web site and completing the form that reports on celebrity and media event promotions at the SHOT Show, Lapua notified SHOT Show ® officials of its plan to have a shooting all-star on hand to meet visitors at its booth.

The company, which will be exhibiting the full line of its manufactured cartridge and reloading components, will feature Tony Boyer, Hall of Fame benchrest shooter, at Booth 3036 each day of the 2010 SHOT Show. There he will be signing copies of a new book about him and his accomplishments. For media, it could make for a great story. For attendees, Boyer could prove to be a highlight of their networking opportunities at the show. And for Lapua, this promotion will increase traffic to the booth.

The long awaited book is in production and we're planning on having it available for the SuperShoot. I regret any inconvenience it might have caused to some of you who are patiently waiting for this great resource. Last thing we need is more confusion with this project. The wait will be worth it, and the final product will set the standard as the ultimate book on BR and rifle accuracy from the master himself.

Will Tony's book be available thru book store outlets such as Amazon, Barnes & Noble etc? If so, What is the title of the book and who is the publisher?

I am the lucky financer, publisher, marketer and distributor of Tony Boyer's book. Along with those responsibilities, I will be selling the books directly. Don't anticipate any availability through bookstores or Amazon, but perhaps some select gunshops and BR suppliers.

First batch in limited quantities is scheduled to make it in time for the Super Shoot. The full shipment will be here in late June. Soon there will be a website where you can order and prepay for your book(s).

Thanks to Denny Andrews' efforts, we already have a long list of names that have reserved books. So a few guys out there might want to think about being nice about their posts re. this book and its timing, because we are taking names. :)

Considering the author, his incredible generosity and willingness to share all his knowledge, this book will be the ultimate resource for accuracy minded shooter for decades.
