Hi Dick,
We offer two seperate flame patterns. #342, and #343. They have now been added to our patterns page.

The flame pattern you see on the 30 br's and 6ppc are #342 with different base colors (one viper blue, one in deep burgandy red). These particular prints allow for the base color to be changed to any color desired.

Stocks results

I had an old Mcmillan benchrest stock lying around. I had Don Geraci set up a Savage target action and barrel into it as a glue in. Will use it to shoot PD's.

Sent the stock to Hydro Dip for a dark red base coat with the black/silver flames. Picked it up last nigt after the glue in was finshed. Hydro dip turned it around in 2 weeks.

Totally awesome job - finish is a foot deep. I put it on the dresser last night and slept with it.

I am sending them another stock next week.

Another time this site has put a hole in my wallet. Saw the comments here a couple of months ago and decided I had to try them. I did and am real happy about it.

Hey Adam (welcome) your work looks great!! I do have some questions. I just recieved a stock that I have been waiting on for months. Its one of those finish yourself stocks (fiberglass).

I have sanded it all down and I do have a few pin holes in it and one good ding where the molds met and didnt quite get filled in (maybe 3/16" wide by 1/2" long).

I was thinking about using some bedding glass, JB weld or possibly bondo. Do you have any other ideas that may be better to use? I will be sending my stock your way as soon as I finish. I would also like to know if I prime the stock with primer will that matter? Or would you prefer to leave it like it is? Sorry for all the questions but I am trying to get things done in a timely matter.

I have seen these guys post on here and I have been to there web site and I cant seem to contact anyone? I even called a couple of times and no one seems to answer? The last time I left a message thinking they would actually call me back? They have not? Deffinately makes me think twice about sending them my stock..

I will find someone else.

I apologize you have not been able to reach us. Our phone line is often tied up and it can be hard to reach us due to us only having 1 line. How does your shop handle stocks with glued in actions? Does the action need to be removed for this process?

We tape off (Mask) glued in actions. The Nesika 6PPC on our website was a glued in action. If you have any additional questions please email me for fast responce @: adam@hydro-dip.com
