First Day Results from The Bluebonnet LV, Sporter in New Braunfels

Results from day Two.

Well, todays weather kinda started out decent, but by the 3d Match at 200, it was pretty obvious we were all in for a full day of “lamentations and nashing of teeth” ;)

I doubt any shooter didn’t have at least one “what the heck” moment. But as always, someone has a better handle on the situation than everybody else. and in this case it was Scott Haywood who came out on top.

We really owe a generous amount of gratitude to Kris Whitman and his crew. They ran a flawless match. The ladies had great meals for lunch. The target crew was perfect, and the scorer was top notch.

Thanks Jackie, Kris and the crew did a wonderful job with the match, it was a perfect weekend and really enjoyed seeing all of you fine folks. It was a pleasure to get to visit with you again and thanks for the words of encouragement!

By the way, folks, this was Scott’s first Two Gun Championship.

I feel confident in saying it will not be his last.

I had a thoroughly good time this week end. Granted, there was a few times when I thought about competing in “the 100 yard Rifle throw”, but that passes in a few seconds.

In about 25 minutes, you will be back up again. Redemption is at hand:p
