Edge stock weigh

Thanks I looked at the website you gave me a piece above is 54.00 an 18.00 freight does sound like what you found thanks AL.

I have there number I will call Monday see if they will cut size I need if they wont I will order from eBay thanks for your help
With the copper alloy in it, normal HSS tooling can be used on it...easy to work with. Not so with straight tungsten.

I'd suggest fitting it yourself if you have or have access to a lathe.

AL I ordered a piece of rod today an it was to ship today thank you for your help
Keep us posted on how it works out.

Just finished this weight system on a new stock for my 30BR HV gun. With different weights threaded front and rear, juggling for total weight, balance and different scopes or barrels will be pretty straight forward. The front of the tube is closed with a brass plug that has a rubber 'bumper' for the weight to bear against with some compression. When using shorter weights, Delrin spacers take up the difference in length. The front of the tube is bedded firmly to a reinforced area behind the grip.

Different system than yours but the basics apply. Having the front of the weight in contact with the front of the tube is important.

Good shootin' :) -Al
