PMA Tool sells butt weight tubes and weights...might try them. Did you need the screw in plug for the end of the weight tube also?

AL please send your source for tungsten I was told the size is
.0458od x2.972 lenght. Thanks an you may no if that is correct

Not sure what the exact size is you need for your weight tube setup. You want a tungsten/copper mix for easy machining to your desired dimensions. Saturn Industries is a good source of tungsten round bar for weight systems. They have an ebay store....here's a piece that would work for you with minimal machining, provided your dimensions are correct.

Don't assume anything on the dimensions you need...check it for sure. Also, make sure and compare the weight differences between tungsten/copper and steel...steel being the most common weight used in these systems. This is a good tool for calculating this:

Hope this helps. -Al

For the size you specified, a tungsten copper piece will be a fuzz over 5 oz. Diameter is your friend for weight. For example, a .625 piece would be right at 9 oz.

Can you fit a larger diameter piece in the tube? -Al

No it is .510 is tight an 7.000 is max size thank. AL
A .500"dia. / 7" long piece of tungsten copper will get you 14 ounces. At .500 diameter, each inch of length is 2 ounces.

If you need 8 ounces, the piece I linked here would be perfect.

Hope this helps. -Al

Thanks I looked at the website you gave me a piece above is 54.00 an 18.00 freight does sound like what you found thanks AL.
