Donna Johnson was very active in the scoring shed up on the hill with the Hawk's Ridge Gun Club. She will be missed...But not forgotten...

A traffic accident occurred on Friday, May 30, 2010 in Wilkesboro, NC. Sadly, this accident took Donna away from us. She and her husband Dennis were stopped in traffic and hit from behind.

I spoke to Dennis today, who is still in the Winston-Salem Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center and hopes to be released today or tomorrow. He informed me Donna's Memorial Celebration of Life will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Saturday, June 5, 2010 at the West Wilkes High School gymnasium. My prayers go out to Donna, Dennis and their family. I knew Donna from the many matches I shot at Hawk's Ridge. Donna was a very nice friendly person.

I was saddened to hear the news when a friend of mine called me and informed me. This just goes to show we never really know how much time we really have to share with our family and friends and it could be taken away from us in and instant. I was taken back in time when I heard this horrible news to when I used to enjoy the matches and Hawks Ridge and the time I spent with certain folks there. I miss those days and the memories will last my lifetime.

Dennis, if you read this I hope you get through this ok and I'm so sorry to hear about your loss.
My mom still asks about you and how your doing after all this time. I hope you get through this ok.
