Call Redding ?? they built it correct?
or where did you get this die?
Best to just call Redding mine says B/FL M8

Redrock gave you good advice to call Redding. However, I have three Redding full length bushing dies and here's what it says on them:

.204 Ruger -- B/FL X8
.20 TAC -- B/FL V8
.17 Rem -- B/FL O8

My wild guess would be that you have a FL bushing die in hand.

Ok thanks for that info S-fox... yes i'd call redding.. but a couple of thing i bought as a private sale they an gave me the correct # for a bushing die.. said it was unused [which it appears to be - no box] but i thought bushing dies were 'S' marked ? which brought question... also i have an order coming with bushing for said die... not here yet an got inpatent.. so before i go off being bent... simply i thought i'd ask

If you screw off the top of the die which carries the decapping pin...you will see a cavity large enough for a "bushing"...if it does not have that cavity...then you have full length die with a fixed neck dimension...and if it is not a bushing type die..I would like to buy it from you..

Ok ... i looked inside an it does look as something will fit in ... i hand pushed a case in but can't tell if the neck will reach into that area.. we'll have to wait till my bushings arrive before i'm sure

Ed... i'll keep in touch, not knowing i can't say what i'll do yet..

MrGee...the cavity for the neck bushing will be approximately 1/2"...it should be obvious...if you have another caliber die that is not a bushing type unscrew the decapping pin holder you will see the "big" difference...also on the Redding brand die the threaded collar that the decapping pin is mounted in will be that 1/2" diameter...once you see a "bushing" type die next to a regular die you will always be able to recognize one...

Two photographs of a Redding Type S bushing die. The first is a view from the top with the decapping assembly and bushing removed and the second is disassembled. This particular die is marked Redding 6.5 Grendel B/FL X6.

If this is the die you have, you really need to call Redding and obtain their detailed instructions on adjusting the decapping pin depth and the bushing engagement.

Ok ... its a bushing die. thank you all for help an patients.. delivery came bushings fit.. it works.. i'm a happy reloader

the set came with a tapered forming botton but no sizing ball would i need the ball when using the bushing .. do i need to grease the necks when using the bushings ? / ?

the forming button was a real bear to unscrew an get it off, but if its not that tight the decap pin just falls out same thing with that other little part that sdrews on
never had a die that need much force to hold a pin in,..?

Sorry Ed... looks like its a keeper
