CMP 40X and Jewell trigger problem

I ordered a jewell trigger and installed it only to find the trigger blade hits the tigger guard. The bottom metal on my gun has three screws and makes it look like the gun has a blind magazine. It is made from stamped steel. I imagine others have had the same problem. Any bright ideas on a solution? Maybe I can bend the trigger guard to clear???

Cut a small slot in the guard for trigger clearance.

Thanks guys, y'all are fast. I didn't want to grind on my new trigger. Didn't know if they offered another blade. Didn't know if there was some cheap new bottom metal that solved it. I'll go with the washers and hope the factory screw is long enough.

I was actually wondering if my trigger might have gotten bent out of shape over the years as I didn't recall anyone else mentioning this problem. It does look like maybe it could be bent to clear.

I have had to shorten the trigger blade on several of my Jewels. Usually it's only 1/16" or a little more. You don't use that area of the trigger blade so what does it matter?

I got A 700 adl trigger guard for a rem 700 and it worked fine
