Anyone here ever try one of these for benchrest like the idea and price. But not sure it's worth putting the money into if you can't get the results you want. Any input greatly appreiated.

I think the CM-2 is an Izhmash (spelling?) rifle.

"extreme spread of impacts 20 mm" (whatever that means) don't stand a chance in BR. That's a group about .70" My Cooper sporters with WalMart hollow points will beat that.

Most of the CM2's I've seen shoot closer to 1/4in. and better @ 50yds. If you're looking to practice techniques and have fun for less than $500, I'd say go for it.
