I've had the Sinclair model for about six years and have been very happy with it's performance. It is a vital tool for pinpointing die problems that can lead to bullet runout. I'm sure there are others out there that do the same job along with other features but the Sinclair model does the job, as advertised.

Runout gauge

Martin: I have both the RCBS ( bought it about 6 yrs. ago), and the Sinclair ( 3 yrs. ago). Have compared the same round on each, and readings are identical. V-blocks on the RCBS have a lot of wear on them now, don't know if it matters. Am not real thrilled with the "made in China" dial indicator on the Sinclair. Just nit-picking, both valuable tools, but if I could only keep one, it would be the Sinclair.

I have the RCBS & Sinclair, but recently bought the best from Bruno's, I like the way it holds the loaded round, pricey but the best I have seen.
